I bought this truck used a few months ago.

The seller told me the engine noise was from the rocker assembly. He
stated this is a year that the 302 had adjustable rockers. He said take
the valve covers off, run the motor, tighten the bolts down until each
valve set stops tapping.

The truck runs fine. Has great power. It is just noisey up top on the
passenger side.

Does this sound right for the year and motor ?
