Default How do I identify drive train - 09-02-2005 , 11:12 PM

Just bought an '88 full size bronco. How do I identify which tranny, front
and rear end types it has?
It's the I6 300 motor with automatic transmission.

Thanks.
Bill

The axles will be a Dana 44 IFS front and a Ford 8.8 rear axle

If the transmission has OD then its an AOD....if it doesnt its a C6 but
i dont think anything after 86 came with a C6 but i could be wrong
