Default 2000 GMC Jimmy - 4 Wheel Low tries to turn on while driving - 12-02-2006 , 12:03 PM

Sometimes when I normally drive my Jimmy, the 4 wheel low light
flashes. If I continue driving, it'll turn off in a minute or so. If
I am not paying attention and it is flashing when I park, the truck
will change into 4 Low and I will need to get out of it before I can
drive again. Does anyone know what would cause my truck to try and
move to 4 Low automatically? Sometimes this will happen 3 times in 20
minutes, and other times it won't happen for a week. I'd just like an
idea as to what is happening and how much it would cost to fix.

Thanks,
Chad

Try pulling the fuse for the TCCM for more than a minute to clear
memory and "reboot it". You might have it checked for error codes but
swithes have a high failure rate and can cause your problem too.
