hie all,
first off i wanna thank you all for taking some time and looking at
this.i have a jep yj 91 2.5li 4 cyl.
which was running fine ,but since last week i have a problem with it.this one
turns off by it self, some times while ideling, even on the highway;and comes
back on again if its running, but not when idelling.i have to give it some 5-6
selfs to get it going again.
i changed the ignition wires ,spark plug, rotor, cap and even the cranking
sensor.cleaned up my fuel tank and pumpbut still no luck.i even checked the
earthing of my fuel pump which is good.
there is a serious leak in my clutch slave cylinder ,and i have to add oil to
the master every 3 days,i was wondering if this leak is creating a problem,if
the oil is getting in front of my cranking sensor and causing this electric
supply interference.i am on the stage of changing the slave cylinder in about
couple of days but still wondering if this will work?
again thanking you for your suggestions and i respect the knowledge of your
experience on jeeps.
thanks! |
