Default Some free TJ parts... (Eugene, OR) - 02-27-2006 , 01:52 AM

I sold my '97 Jeep and have some stuff to get rid of. Here it is:

-spare headlight, brand new;

-factory HD alternator; voltage spiked once and went back to normal but i
replaced it anyway;

-side steps;

-front and rear bumper;

-serpentine belt for a 4.0L w/ air conditioning. Used, great for spare.

It's all free! It's going to the dump soon! Take it!

You should post this over on rec.autos.makers.jeep+willys. I know one
person at least was just looking for a bumper and folks are always
looking for steps.

Just FYI, the voltage regulator on those things is in the computer, not
the alternator.

I will take the Side steps. I will even send money for shipping. Give
me the weight and I will figure it out for you.

I really don't want to ship the stuff... that adds an element of hassle that
I'd like to avoid. I just want to give them to someone. If I wanted to
ship the stuff, I'd put it on EBAY, you know?

Thanks for the offer, though! I'll save your address in case I change my
mind.

I bet you'd have luck posting on Craigslist. I'd put the stuff on both
the Eugene and Portland sites.
