Hi everbody!

How does traction control in an AWD detect if all 4 wheels lost
traction at the same time? Like on ice or sand for example? (In my
situation there is *no* center diff. in the AWD)

The chance of really loosing all grip instantly & equally is nil, even on
ice....*some* wheel is bound to spin sooner than the others.

Btw, here a nice analysis why brake-operated traction control means wasting
half the power and half the torque, simply because of a how a diff works:
