any tips on replacing the pitman arm on a 1993 k1500 extended cab? does
the nut that holds the arm on require a special wrench? what size? is it
necessary to pull the steering box to get to the pitman arm?

DO NOT use a pickle fork to remove the pitman arm.. you WILL ruin the
steering box. you don't have to remove the steering box, but it makes
it much much easier. on my 88.. it's just a hex nut, don't remember
the size.
