The title says "Alfa 156" and in the same bold face on the next line "Alfa Power Wagon" whatever that is! |

It's free, has a nice stereo and is easily the most refined motorway car you can buy for under £30k. I'm going to sod off to Singapore now. Will no doubt be on line for bits and pieces. I'm off to Dudley in a few minutes. The joys of a 3 day Advanced Food Safety course. |

(OK, the floor still rots, but that's a minor point).... both myself and Catman have run 75s as dailer drivers, so can't see any reason why an SZ (especially) couldn't be used. I just think of it as more a treasured collectors car than a commuter mule..that's all. I've no doubt it's up to it but would you want to if you actually owned one? |

I've not read SteveH's post yet, but I suspect it's along the lines of '75 running gear, cheap to run and service etc etc' I know I wasn't clear but, I really wasn't commenting on physical reliability and more the possibility that you might treasure and value an SZ to the point where you might tend to want to preserve it as a treasured collectors item rather than have it battered by the constant deterioration of the daily commute. Or, in other words, to me the SZ/RZ is more a priceless collectors item than the Maserati. YMMV. |
