Having a problem can not move the floor shifter to get into 4WD. It feels
like it would move at the transfer case. So I took the boot off and looked
at what wasn't happening I noticed when pulling on the shifter there is no
movement at the pivot point, none ! not even a little like taking the slack
out of the linkage. There is a Torx drive bolt going through the center of
the pivot point. Any foreseeable problems with pulling the bolt out, I tried
with an Allen wrench but seemed very tight did not force it to much I was
planning to pick up a Torx socket and trying again.
Any advice would be appreciated
