Default 1966 buick Skylark Vent Window Weatherstripping - 03-31-2008 , 04:33 PM

i have a 1966 buick skylark, ive been restoring for 3 years coming to
the
finishing stages, weatherstripping, the vent window weatherstripping
is extremely stubborn. i was wondering if there is any type of lube i
can use that wont affect adhesive to help slide the rubber into the
channels easier.

I may be misunderstanding what you are asking, but here goes.

Tire lube is used to mount tires on rims. Same idea... (Tire lube is
basically a water based soap anyway). Take some children's bubble
soap, and try that. Once done you can wash it off where it is exposed,
the remaining will dry and not cause any problems.
