I dont know is this the same problem. But,
My four year old A6 was all window opened this morning. And
yesterday I'm
sure there were clossed. Today I've made testing with remote
door
controller. Continuously just shortly press, open, close,
open, and so on.
Suddenly, all windows went down!. Without long pressing
open-button.
Has anybody notice the same function?

Yes, it is the same problem. That was one of the symptoms that
I saw.
In fact, that was how I first found out by coming to my car and
seeing
the windows part way down.

Disable the "total closure" option.

It's nothing to do with "total closure" - but, like I said in an
earlier post, the "Convenience Module". VAG-COM, or a stealer
VAS5052 are your only friends in this instance.
It solved the problem on my car.
