I'm planning to replace the all-season Pirelli's (P6 4 season) on my new A6 2.7T. The handling sucks. I've seen good reviews of the BFG g-force KDWS, most rave about summer performance, although the jury appears to be out on winter weather perfromance. AWD'ers seem to like them, 2WD seem to complain. It generally snows often here in Colorado, but melts quickly and doesn't stick around for long. My mountain driving is very limited, mostly around town (Denver area) and in-state trips. Comments anyone? Thanks, RT |

I just put a set of Dunlop A2 Sports on my 2001 A6 2.7TQ and I am very happy with them. I also considered the Conti ExtremeContacts. Ditto with my '89 200... the Dunlop A2 has proven to be a well made tire that is quite and surprisingly not all that much for the 205/60-15's, only running about $70 each. -- Taylor '89 Audi 200 '03 Audi S6 Avant '98 Jeep Cherokee Sport |
