Default Direct X 9 removal tool actually works - 09-09-2003 , 01:24 AM

I tried this and it does work with XP and DX9. I managed to go back to
DX8.1 which my video card really was made to support.

For some reason DX9 was automatically installed without asking me
after I upgraded and reinstalled everything. i was told DX could not
be uninstalled, but this program works perfectly.

And what issues do you have with DX9.0a? Let me answer that for you.
There are no issues with DX9.0a.
Microsoft seem to think there are, that wh they released 9.0b. I
certainly don't see any reason do go back to DX8 though.

It always asks unless you have windows update set to automatically d/l AND
apply all updates. Which is a really bad idea. DX9 has no issues per se so
its really best to leave it, in fact DX9 actually improves in lots of areas.

Dude, give your head a shake.
U should never be so certain about anything , let alone that dx9a doesnt
have bugs.
