Andre - Heel/Toe with the G25 is next to impossible because you would
NEVER position the pedals like that in a real race car. When the brake
pedal is depressed it should be along the same plane as the gas pedal
so all you need to do is brake with the ball of your foot and blip the
throttle with the outer edge. I saw some pics a while back of a rig
someone made by dismantling the G25 and rearrangeing the pedal layout
to be like it should be.. If I can find it i'm going to try building
the same rig. Maybe there is some way to drop the gas pedal an inch
+/-, that would work also.

Yup, the pedals are not position as they should be, I wonder why the
hell they put the brake and gas pedals so far apart. I saw pics too of
different pedals mods, might be something I'm going to do eventually
too. Fortunately I have quite big feet which makes it slightly less
awkward

Cheers
Andre

The G25 does change things, doesn't it
It's mostly the shifting back in a corner which gives me the most
trouble. Especially in mods like the F1 '79 one. But it feels so much
better and real using the clutch, love it!

I may change springs too, if they don't wear in. I like my pedals a bit
lighter than this.
Personally I find the resistance of the pedals perfect, especially the
braking pedal. Controlling the brakes is so precise now.

Cheers
Andre

I go through fazes like this.. and I'm like this at the moment.. I just can't seem to get any enjoyment out of
siming.... I think its a mood thing..?
Or that the newness of sim-racing has worn off, and we've gotten older.

There are other type of games. The Tombraider series is my favorite,
and I do play the arcade racing games, like the Need For Speed
series, mostly the offline career mode.

Please explain what a fucking toolshed is?
Well if you are going to modify your pedals, you'll need tools and those
are kept in the tool shed. Now if the tool shed doesn't have the
tools you need, you may get mad and say "that fucking tool shed ...".

So there you have ... and I was getting worried that we were getting off
topic.

Well, it looks like no one here is interested in purchasing either
the TSW2 nor the sims, so I'll put them up for sale on e-bay.

Happy New Year's all

It more permanent with me, just can't get back into it. I just have the
feeling that I've been there and done that so it's time to move on.

Ofcourse after spending a lot of time on simracing the thrill gets
less and less. I stopped simracing for a while because my former pc
couldn't handle the newer sims. Now that I've 'discover' rFactor and
the mods I'm getting huge enjoyment again from sim-racing.

Besides that I now drive with the G25, manual clutch and using the
H-shifter. It's like learning to drive all over again. Heel/toe is
HARD

Cheers

I'm enjoying sim racing more than ever now. The combination of rFactor and
R.A.C.E.R. has been great.

Try as I might, I just haven't been able to get back into sim racing after
trying on and off for the last 6 months or so. I've moved on to turn based
games like chess and Civilization 4, which neither require a super
powerful computer nor lightening fast reflexes. Neither of which
I no longer have.

I thought that before I put my wheel and a few games up on ebay, that I
would offer them here first. If anyone is interested in these items,
please email off list. Thanks.

See the comment below? This is the type of person you find in many sim
leagues. They take the enjoyment out of it.
