Hi,

I've moved from win98 to Win Xp Pro and I have problems to re-install gpl.

After installing the cpuspeedfix, the 1.1 and 1.2 patch, the directx patch,
the game runs with no problems.

But I'm unable to install the GPL all (graphics and 67 season etc....) ; I'm
stuck at the screen where I can choose team and put my name and I have this
message : unable to save player settings.

Can you help me please ?

Make sure that none of the files in the gpl folder are read-only.

In XP this is easy, select the properties for the gpl folder & tick the
read-only box if it isn't already, and apply, only to this item. Then untick
the box, and apply, all files & subfolders.

Not sure if it has anything to do with it, but I think you want to apply the
CPU fix last, and I think it actually includes the previous patches. IOW if
you installed it first you probably overwrote it.
