Yes the racing does have FF. In fact maybe just a little better FF feel
than the Force but thats subjective.

I got me a spare MS FF, for I think 68 bucks at Amazon.com.

funny... but after wasting the money, I realized that I will only need a
backup one, if the house catches on fire, or something... This one
has
been running great for about 2 years, and I got it used from ebay.

Logitech, the 'force' one is Force Feedback, is the 'racing' also force
feedback??

The cheaper MOMO racing has paddle shifters as well as a stick shift. The
construction is mainly tough plastic as opposed to the steel bearing in the
MOMO force. The pedals are far superior on the cheaper wheel and
surprisingly the rubber wheel feels way better than the leather wheel. The
only reason to buy the more expensive MOMO is if you drive like a gorilla.

I found an article that had the detailed comparison I wanted at
http://tinyurl.com/3n9s

Based on the photos included in the in depth review, the Force gear
mechanism appears more robust. I'm buying the red one.

Thanks all for your comments.
The Microsoft FF Wheel is on sale at CompUSA for 39.99.

Just ordered one. Man, CompUSA rakes you over the coals for shipping
though! $15.50 for GROUND shipping!

Anyway, total was $57.50. I can live with it (and they know that,
bastaads).

Thanks for the tip
