Default NR03-CTS Mod-Paintshop - 09-30-2003 , 10:59 AM

I tried to a modification to one of the CTS trucks in the built in paintshop.
When I opened the truck in the paint shop it didn't show up correctly (only
part of the truck template was vivible-some areas either didn't show at all or
were grey) or allow me to make any changes. Is it my installation or the mod?
Any idea's?

its the mod. from the pwf_cts readme:

Your player info will remain the same as it is for the Cup series but you'll
want to choose a truck to use in the Craftsman Truck Series. The Paint kit
is not functional in the CTS Add-on and all of the features for
importing/exporting cars are implemented as described in the patched NR2003
Series documentation.

So you'll have to export it. modify it with any paint program and import it
back in.

Better yet, don't export a scheme if you want to start from scratch. Just
use the pre-made truck templates located at PWF under the *Templates*
heading on the home page.

If you want to be able to preview your truck in 3D in the game's paintshop,
be certain you resize the file from 1024x1024 to 512x512 before you import
it into your driver file. Then you can see the scheme a little better in the
paint shop, but more importantly, you can see it fairly good in the 3D
preview portion of the paint shop. Resizing also knocks down the size of a
typical truck file from 1-2 MB to about 500k or less per each.
