What he's doing is probably too slow to be considered hotlapping....
Another reason he thinks its no big deal...the people that arent very good
at it are almost always the ones that find the sims lacking, anyone else
notice that?

Hey, I've watched NASCAR racing on TV and seen movies like Days of Thunder

doesn't make sense. All that is good and exciting about real NASCAR racing
is omitted and all that is left is acutely boring, leaving the player with
nothing to do but set this alarm clock to wake him up before the next bend
so he can twitch the joystick.

I started playing Nascar Racing 2003 a couple of months ago, despite
knowing practically nothing about the sport. I have watched it a
couple of times on TV, but it doesn't excite me much. I love playing
the game though. On the surface it may look a very dumbed down sport,
but it is full of subtleties that makes it a great sport, and a great
contender for a computer game.

LOL, yea.. all of the money they make from the game just makes no sense

Go run 30 laps at Darlington (at full speed, not putzing around) and then
come back and tell us that. First of all though, you should definately
try something other than Daytona/Dega by yourself. Its obvious that is what
you are baseing this on.

You may commence trolling ...

Trying to enjoy a racing sim with anything other than a wheel/pedal combo
just doesnt make sense, course I'm guessing thats completely lost on you as
well.

Hadn't tried NASCAR games before but loaded Nascar 4 to check it out.
WTF.... where's the fun?! I became mesmerised and fell asleep while going
round 'n round 'n round, with the occasional twitch of the joystick to
change the line on the bends. I found one track that had a few extra bends,
only to discover why all the tracks are ovals, because the cars handle like
shit!

Must be missing something here...............
