Just installed CMR3 (non-demo) - and I'm well disappointed.
No arcade play.
No custom cam view.
Washed out colours - giving a sense of remoteness.
Crap physics - cars just pivot at the centre.
Just isn't immersive or even engaging.
Glad I only paid 19 quid for this pile of shite.
Version 2 is a much better deal - so I'm continuing to play with that.

CMR 3.0 going cheap ..... any takers ?

Well, you could have at least tried it before you bought it.

I find it amusing to see this many original games being bought.
I don't remember when was the last time I saw an original of
any game or program here in Croatia.

Just goes to show the state of mind in Croatia. Most of the rest of the
world calls that pirated software. Would you still pirate the titles if
they were made locally and your fellow citizens relied on the sales of their
software for revenues?

Of course I'm for buying original cds, but I would never buy a game
before trying it out first. On the other hand, imagine giving 1/3 or 1/2
of what you earn a month for a game!

Yes, there are some local products, and I've never seen an original of
them either.

How do you afford to buy a PC then? Remember these are games and SHOULD be
considered luxury items. If you can't afford them, you don't buy them. You
don't steal them.

If the games cost that much(or Croatians earn that little), then I can
understand that attitude. But in that case, how do people afford computers in
the FIRST place?

Extremely hard.
I worked on a P133 'till 4 months ago. Didn't upgrade for almost 7
years.

Agreed, that _is_ the right point of view, but sounds laughable for
most of ppl in Croatia, BiH, Serbia, Slovenia etc.

12-24 monthly payments, usually.

I was lucky to get a job (first one, I'm 21) and work for around
6 months before having to quit (another story). If it weren't
for that, I'd be still using a 7 year old Pentium 133.

I paid $500 for a xp1700/512 ddr/40gb/gf4mx based pc.

I was a salesperson in a hi-fi audio/video store (I'm an audiophile)
and was paid $300/month for 8-10h/day, and was lucky to get it.
My fathers last job was paid around $270/month. The lowest pay check
here (by law) is $230, and most people work for $250-300.

With around $500/month your life here would be rather easy. Everything
over $800/month and you're a rich man.

Things in Serbia are even worse ($70-80/month being the usuall), but food
prices are down too. But software costs the same in US, here, and in
Serbia (ex YU).

No wonder there are no legal copies around when sometimes we can't even
afford some blank cdrs.

Oh, sorry, I'm talking too much
Sorry if there are any typos/spelling issues

Greetings from Croatia, Osijek (http://www.hr).
