After I posted, I figured it was the same idiot.

RAS sure is giving my kill filter a workout lately.

Since he is asking for monetary donations, could this not be considered
fraud if not true?

maybe that guy that posted owns west coast motor sports, and yes that is
probably fraud on the death notice and the donations. Contact the local
police in that juridiction.

Hi Tony, ZZ,

This is not true then?

My heart leapt up my throat when I read it.

Please let me know, as if it is true - I obviously need to say what
John means to me. In my mind, he led me to start a website about my sim
racing in his leagues (IGPS), that led me to start Legends Central,
that lead me to make RSC, that led me to now work for a software
developer producing what I love. John is directly responsible in my
eyes.

Tim

Very much untrue. I got in touch with JS after I saw this. He's far
too cranky to die peacefully

Hi Tim. Razor has made similar false claims in the past and is simply
not to be believed. I guess unmoderated newsgroups will always have the
odd sicko posting.

Still it does me good to remember the good old IGPS days when you were
still wet behind the ears and I used to be quicker than you

Cheers
Tony

Thanks Tony, good to hear. I haven't had contact with John in a long
time and I take his effect on me for granted I guess - I should reverse
that. Thanks for letting me know.

hehe. I think my first league race EVER, was in IGPS at Kyalami - and I
believe either you or Graeme Nash won? All I remember is your race
report of the event - I was so chuffed that I got a mention - even if
it was for spinning!

Those were the days. :-)
