Hi,
Had the shock of my life NOT seeing a yellow flag for a car
stationary on track! (It should have been red, but I guess
it is not stated to happen in free practice).
And I was on a real hot lap then (see lap 3). Now I realize why
many people were really disappointed not seeing a safety car
deployed in 06 Spain. I had Kimi stationary half way over the
Nouv chicane where you have to muscle your car over it, if not
straight line the damn thing approaching Tabac

Not only
did it spoil my lap, but I could have seriously had crashed!
Anyways, see below the lap times + splits. I have intentionally
removed all the other logger + telemetry data, its huge + for
all the other 21 cars included! But its great for analysis!
One class act, courtesy the new GP4 patches which give you a
real time view of the position of all cars on track + splits
+ timings on screen (very similar to one given by visionf1.com);
So I ran my car slow till all the others were not over near
1/4 the distance ahead of me, and then started my hot laps
with clean air.
I know the modern F1 cars have this data available aswell, but
the only difference being, I had the other 21 cars driven by the
AI which prefers to run the cars in a train in the dirty air of
the leading car...

) Or may be its the free practice mode

Buts thats all I do in GP4. Set hot laps in free practice
and try and learn the circuit as much as possible!
As always, very very difficult track, Loews + Porter + Tabac +
Rasscass are the most challenging (basically the whole track)
for me.
