I'm looking for a new video card, but I'm not really looking to spend $500. I saw the ATI radeon 9200 128 MB for under $100. Is this a good deal or a waste of $85? the one I have now is an ATI All-In-Wonder 16MB. this should at least be a step in the right direction. |

It would be a significant jump to move up to an ATI Radeon 9600 for $113 available on www.newegg.com. This will give you much faster speed and dx9 compatibility. -Tim "PowerPost 2000" <PP (AT) 2K (DOT) com> wrote in message news:khsvpv4jvbb0tmd62spbva65o40s8n02e9 (AT) 4ax (DOT) com... but... if you're running a 16mb card I have to question your processor speed.. Anything less than 1.4ghz and your best bet is a 64meg geforce2 card or the like. Atleast IMO.
