1995 E36 exterior door handle bezel

1995 E36 exterior door handle bezel - 11-13-2006 , 09:22 AM

The tabs broke off and the bezel fell off. I have the new replacement, but
there seems to be a thin metal piece just the other side of the holes with a
gap to hold the top tabs.
Do I need to remove the inside panel? There must be an easier way.
Help!
