1995 BMW (Pioneer) CD changer in newer model?

I have the 6-CD changer (Pioneer) from my recently totaled 1995 525i. I
am considering a 2003 525i. Does anyone know if this changer will work?
If it won't, I will sell it. I also have the bracket and accessory
padded 'case' for it.

nope, won't work. upto 95 had the m-bus, while 96 and up have the I-bus
