When I turn off the ignition and attempt to open the front doors, I must always pull the door-handle twice before the door unlatches and is allowed to open. Does anyone know what the "thought process" was when engineering this feature? TIA |

I had thought of that, but after the car is stopped and the engine turned off, well, I don't see the logic. It's not a bad thing but there is no danger when the car is stopped and not running. Thanks. "Jeff Strickland" <crwlr (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote in message news:A4qdndQCEvDmgzvenZ2dnUVZ_vmdnZ2d (AT) ez2 (DOT) net... If the doors are locked, it takes one pull to unlock, and a second pull to open the door. Think of it as a safety feature. If a kid pulled the handle and the door went flying open, do you suppose this could be a problem?
