Update, I have now replaced the entire shift linkage and still can't get the tranny into reverse. Also, the tranny acts like it's going into first and second but the gears don't engage anything. I'm going to guess at this point that I bent a shift fork while fighting the shifter. Just my luck. Question now is, do I get another tranny or fix this one? |

Alrighty then, getting ready to pop this sucker open. Anyone else had a Getrag 260 apart? Any suggestions as to a source of parts? Output shaft nut was a pain in the ass to get off, tomorrow I'll remove the rest of the bolts and peek inside... I'm hoping to hear from any of you who've worked in these before... |
