Just installed Balo rotors and Pagid brake pads in my 89 325i and I am very
happy with the performance so far. The disc set screw does not seem to be
available on the web sites I went to, got mine at the dealer. See if you can
loosen your set screw, if you can, then you won't need to replace it, mine
were wasted by PO.
Check out
www.eurowebparts.com. I live near Boston and if the parts are
ordered before 1pm and they ship out of the NJ depot, standard UPS, the
parts have been arriving next day. If the parts ship out of the CA depot
then it takes at least a week. I suppose it would be the other way around if
you live in CA. This has been my experience, your mileage may vary .

Looking at the discussions, it looks like PBR Deluxe is a solid brand to
go
with for brake pads on a '99 323i. With that said (jump in if you
disagree!), I found a place called www.advancebmwparts.com that has many
brake pads brands (ATE - Teves, Pagid, Textar, & PBR). I believe Pagid is
the BMW oem. Anyways, the question is, has anyone ever used this site
before, and what was your experience? Can you suggest another site that
has
a good price? Thanks for any help and advise.
