Default Condensation on the inside of turn signals - 01-15-2004 , 10:25 PM

I have a 2003 325i sedan. I've been finding condesation
on the inside of the front turn signal lights on a regular
basis. I took the car in to the dealer yesterday and the
service technician wrote "unable to reproduce the problem",
which is obvious as it wasn't sitting out in the rain. However,
it rained this morning, and when I went to pick up the car,
it had the condensation. I pointed this out to the service
manager who got one of the technicians to look at it. The
technician said this is known issue and is considered normal
by BMW. He claimed they even have a bulletin on this, but he
wouldn't be able to pull it out for me at that time. He said
the assembly is not a sealed unit and when the lights are on
the condensation will evaporate.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it true that this behavior
is considered normal?

Thanks,
Anoop
