Yes, you can... try using the speaker level inputs to an aftermarket amp....

You may find a line level out... it is likely a balanced output, being a
bmw...

I would just go speaker level for a quick connect...

Considering the sound system in my E39 is poor (and worse than the one in
my previous E34), I doubt it. ;-)

Do they really use balanced outputs? It makes sense, but car sound systems
seem remarkably lacking in that.
