I've just bought an E46 330d and am very impressed... but the air conditioning has that mouldy locker-room smell and I want to use the anti-bacterial spray to clear it up. On my prev. Audi it was simply a case of putting the air-con on, putting the vents on recirculate and spraying the anti-bacterial cleaner below the glove box where it got sucked into the system. I can't find out where the BMW sucks the air back in to recirculate. I've had a look around and consulted the manuals but all to no avail. Can anyone point me at the right vent? or is there another way to do this, e.g. outside air inlet?...
