That sounds like a reasonable request. My handheld GPS will refersh the
screen long before the cursor gets to the edge. Certainly a sophisticated
system like in the BMW will have this simple function.

Picked up my new Z4 yesterday with Sat Nav and mine always centred,
regardless if a route is set or not.
I purposely checked this out after delivery because of your message.
Maybe there is some update you need?
