Advice please - company car Mondeo driver, coming out of company scheme, need help with buying 'first' car after years of being mollycoddled by fleet support. Have £20k to spend (or around £600 per month) - attracted to a BMW. Need - leather seats (because my Mondeo has them!) but also luggage space - I'm worried about a tiny boot that I've heard comes with BMW's, but don't fancy an estate model. Not sure why, just looks odd. |

Not sure why, just looks odd. I know some here will be stunned to see *me* suddenly acting the heretic, but have you looked at the Jag X-Type? We got one (3.0 Sport 5-speed w/nav system - Phoenix RED) a few months ago and it's insistently tugging me away from the Cult of the Roundel.
