Turbodiesels do not require special oil. I use cheap crap from the coop on my half million mile turbodiesel and have for a decade. Having said that there is one point to consider - if you run the engine hard then shut if off the oil in the turbo may cook if it's dino juice whereas synthetic can tolerate the higher temperature. |
