Default 1999 Lincoln Towne Car where is the computer? - 09-23-2006 , 10:42 AM

I recently purchased carmd.

It's a neat device -- plug it into the computer and you get a readout.

No problem with my Buick.

But I have a 1999 Lincoln Towne Car.

I looked under the dash but don't see the plug for the computer. Does anyone
know where it is??

There is a black box that I assume is the fuse box. I'm hesitant to open it
as the latch looks flimsy (afraid of breaking it). Might the computer plug
outlet be there?

Mel

From Google (you ought to try it): 1999 Town Car DLC connector is
under the dash, to the right of the steering column, between the
steering column and center console. It looks like a larger-than-life
"Centronics" style connector...but is all plastic.
