95 buick lasabre

After running completely out of gas I can't seem to get my buick started. I
put about 6 gals total in gas back in the tank but it just cranks without
turning over. Could I still need more gas in the tank or could it possibly
be the fuel pump?

Sounds like a fuel lock. You may have to bleed the fuel rails of air.
