Default accident in the title -- does it reduce price? - 01-17-2007 , 10:53 AM

Hi all,

My car (Toyota Sienna 2004) was in accident 3 years ago -- somebody hit
me in the back. The title sais:

"Accident reported in Bergen County involving rear impact it hit
another motor vehicle. Rear area primarely damaged".

I had it then fully fixed in the dealer's (Toyota) shop.

Does this record reduce the market price a lot? Can I still use the
Blue book to estimate projected price (the book says the car should
have "clean title history")?

Thanks in advance,

Arkadiy

imho:

Market is driven by what people are willing to pay for the item.

If the car is in great condition, after repairs, wouldn't you use that
as a factor in determining the sale price? Just remember to share
with the buyer the whole truth.
