Place for newbie to get started?

I am a 19 year-old male who never got "into" cars, but I would like to
start. The extent of my current knowledge goes as far as pumping gas,
checking the oil, and adding wiper fluid.

Where is the best place for me to go to start learning about fan belts,
spark plugs, and fuel injection? I don't necessarily want to get into
dismantling engines and rebuilding transmissions, but I'd like to have
enough know-how to tighten an A/C belt, to change the oil myself, or to add
a speaker or two to the radio. Advice?
