Looks to this reader that you alone caused the crash right? and you
alone had the non-Kia remote starter installed right? Are you trying to
imply that the Kia motor company and the named Kia dealers owes you
something? If so I think you need to do some real soul searching and
think again.

Soul searching!?!

Stop moralizing please!

BTW, yup, I was driving the vehicle when I "caused the crash". That's
what is normally known as an ACCIDENT! You must be perfect since by
the sounds of it you've never had an accident.

What I'm hoping is that the KIA Motor company straightens out it's
dealers that have erroneously diagnosed the problem from the start.
As for the "non-Kia" remote starter, here are the facts:
- one of the best on the market
- was professionally installed
- was working fine BEFORE the ACCIDENT
- the remote starter has nothing to do with the damages (it wasn't
even used since the accident) The remote starter alibi (yes, alibi)
was concocted from a KIA technician who doesn't seem to know what he's
talking about.

Since you seem to know little or nothing about auto ACCIDENTS let me
explain...
There is something called insurance, which most drivers pay thousands
of dollars per year for. This insurance thingy is supposed to cover
expenses when someone has an auto accident. These expenses are meant
to restore the auto to working order. It is quite obvious I do not
have a working auto.

<sarcasm on> BTW, your understanding is touching <sarcasm off>

Thanks Kai,

Good luck with your battle as well. It's unbeleivable that car makers
(even Japanese or Korean) still don't understand the concept of
'satisfied customers' .

Do you know that I used to pass out Sorento pamphlets to people
interested in the vehicle. Man, what a jerk I was!!!!

Cheers!

Remote starters do not cause engine starters to fail unless the remote
start
is faulty and stays engaged for MINUTES after the engine has started and
does so on numerous occasions.

You should have let the INS Co total the sorrento

I'm still in that fight with my Nissan. My wife was in an accident in August
where rougly $12K of damage was done to our '98 Maxima. The insurance
wouldn't total it but instead insisted on repairing it and paying about $3K
on rental cars during the months I waited.

Good luck with this. Don't give up!!!
