I was fined for driving 97 km/hour yesterday!
It annoyed me very much!

Hi,

As you know police uses some camera to detect the speed of cars
and then will fine the driver if he drives faster than the
speed limit. In my country this car limit is 95 Km/h and I think
this figure is like a joke.Do you know of any method to counteract
their cameras when driving?

Wow! I would be annoyed too....

Some vehicles come stock with different sized tires or some people put a
larger tire on.

That can make 'way' more than a 3 kph difference in the 'real' speed
v.s. what the speedometer tells you.

My Jeep Cherokee can have P195 up to P225's on it according to the air
pressure sticker in the glove box.

The difference between the smallest and largest is a lot more than 10
kph...

I put 235's on it and according to my GPS, the spedo is now 100%
accurate.

Here in North America, if you take the vehicle into a place that will
certify speedometers and yours turns out to be off, you can 'usually'
beat the fine....

Otherwise, slow down or get a radar detector, but I don't think a normal
detector works with some laser camera systems, could be wrong. They
could be illegal where you live too and getting caught could be 'way'
worse than the speeding ticket.

I try to keep the speed or at least with a line of cars, but we have
close to a 20 kph 'buffer' on our 100-110 kph highway speed limits here
in Canada before getting a ticket.

Not so with the photo radar, they have smaller tolerances, but no way 3
kph!
