Now, when it's idling and you shift into drive, there's a small, but notiecable "lurch" forward...not huge, but enough to be felt. Up until now, it's always been a seamless transition from neutral to drive. You could barely feel it. Shifting into reverse is smooth as silk, so that hasn't changed. I'm going to bring the car back to the dealer. My question is: Is there something in the transmission that can be adjusted for a smoother transition into drive? Thanks! Scott I'd check the fluid level first. It might be just a bit low. Also understand that more than one transmission has been damaged by flushing. If it happened while at the dealer it's their responsibility. Likely they will not acknowledge any liability on their part and will just tell you that "they all do that". They may not have pulled the trans pan and it may be full of crap from their miracle flush. Demand that they drop the pan then replace the filter. Good luck. |
