Nope, not just you. I find it annoying too, especially when (as the OP has
done) it's spammed across many different newsgroups.
All you need to do is report them to ebay, spamming auctions is against
their rules and they'll cancel any spammers selling account without much
bother.....

the standard answer is that the transfer box is buggered because someone
didn't read the info properly and couldn't afford to change all 4 tyres at
