I have been having a strange noise from the engine especially when and after
using the A/C. I took the drive belt off the compressor to check the pulley
bearings. The outer part of the pulley moves freely with no rough noise,
although slight side play. The centre part of the pulley which I guess is
the shaft that runs the compressor makes a clicking type noise when rotating
by hand. I have no experience with compressors, so just wondering if this is
normal?
