Hi, I am trying to get information on converting my car to have wheel chair access. There are many companys out there doing these conversions, however I intend to do the entire conversion myself and need help with all the technical information, fllor plans, ramps, etc. Can anyone assist, where can I find this information. You won't because all these companies have their own bespoke designs. |

Mine for EG is taken directly from the factory in Canada to a plant in Michigan where they remove engine exhaust, suspension at both ends, most of the interior, and then they cut out the complete floor from engine to the rear end. Then they weld in a complete ne bespoke floor, 10 inches lower, rustproof, repaint, and then fit extensions to the sliding doors as well as relocating all the door bottom track and other workings. Its no one off custom job. My sis-in-laws Fiat Doblo is adapted to a similar level. |
