I tried to watch American 'Football' on TV the other night (you know the version of our game americans invented but play it wearing padding and using their hands as well for 'Football' - presumably to overcome hand-eye coordination issues...) - ye gods that is **DULL**. They run like, 5 metres, then stop and spend another 15 minutes setting up for the next attempt to make no ground at all. Still, it helped my insomnia :-) |

The FA Cup Semi final was good today though :-p |

Four quarters somehow lasts for five hours. The FA Cup Semi final was good today though :-p That's an oxymoron. |

Unless you're a Watford fan, then it's fair I guess :-) It was a decent game, aye. Shame I didn't realise it was an evening kick-off or I'd have hung around at Alfaholics for a bit longer. However, there weren't that many cars there, with it being a 105 series specific day - there's only so many times you can watch the same 20 cars go around before it wears a bit thin. Especially when almost every session was curtailed because someone span at Quarry. Anyway, it's given me the kick up the arse I need to organise at least a couple of track days this year - looking at doing them on the airfields at Keevil and Hullavington, 'cos there's nothing much at Pembrey and Castle Coombe are piss-taking cunts when it comes to charges. £225 for that shitty litte place vs £89 for the airfields. |
