Default Another old banger review - 04-20-2007 , 11:50 AM

ZX 1.9D. £225, needed a couple of tyres and a cambelt (fucking glad I didn't
try DIYing that, my fingers aren't 4 foot long), but it's got 90k and
history to back it up.

Surprisingly nimble and neutral handling, and the fag / dog smell was
removed after a day's cleaning. Quite good seats too. Anyone got a radio
fascia plate for one of these?

Which fuel pump has it got, the Lucas or the Bosch? Hopefully it's a
Bosch, you can run it on all kinds of shite. If it's a Lucas, stick to
the diesel...

I quite enjoy mine, the estate version. Only place I've seen the facia
plate was Halfords, about £15. Apparently main dealers are cheap for this
bit, but don't really know the price, just what I've read. I've still got
the original radio cassette in mine.

I didn't fancy paying £15 for one from Halfrauds so I got one for my 306
off ebay for £6 delivered. Same packaging and manufacturer.

It'll be a DIN shaped hole in the dash with a slightly bigger hole for
the enlarged face of the headunit, depending on how pikey Doki is, he
may not need a fascia plate.

In other news I fitted the iPod adapter to the Mazda today.

It's all fucking expensive clobber for the ZX on ebay. Presumably as you see
millions of 306en but not many ZXs...
