TomTom units are very good... ...but arguably over the top for many people. And expensive. Why OTT? As for expensive, you pay for what you get. Why over the top? Because some people just need it to get them to the odd place every so often, don't tow, don't drive a truck or a bus and derive little benefit from a larger screen. For these people it's over the top. |

I've seen and used those Medion things and the build quality, or lack of it, sticks out like a sore thumb and the address entry system is crass. You're blaming the device for your inability to work with it. That isn't the i2 or i3's problem, it's yours. |

Tom tom 1? Cheap.... Navman cheapest one? Etc... You can get a Garmin i3 for 80 quid these days. I use one in the company shed, works very well - not as many features asTomTom, but I prefer it for everyday use. |
