I *never* let tyres wear that much on my own cars. I thought you said it was your own car? When you were bleating on about the payment plan you were on, you kept saying it was your own. |

The one who's current new car is always the best ever thing, no matter how dull. My apologies to SteveH in that case. It's hard keeping up with who has |

Yea I remember Silk trying to explain that. His car was not really his heh. It's like my Motability car, it still goes back eventually so it's not really mine. Although my next car in a couple of months, I have to buy myself, how unreasonable is that hehe ;-) Quite looking forward to it TBH, I get free reign to choose whatever I like now. |

I'm kinda glad I don't have the company car now, and my current employer pays me business mileage in my own car. I've got an older car sure, but my expenses paid for the car quickly, I service it myself and I can do things like get new tyres when I want to. And I don't tend to drive it like I stole it... Mate of mine worked for an outlet that sold ex pendragon lease cars. Saw the history for a subaru turbo he had in, the printout ran to about 8 pages covering the service and repair items it had had. Discs and pads every service, a couple of replaced "failed" disc sets, two replacement turbos, tyres every 6-8k miles. Apparently not unusual for a leased scooby. Lol I'm not surprised! I was looking forward to doing that sort of thing |
