I quite like it.

Yikes. You are a man of, um, unconventional tastes. I respect that.
Please don't be offended if I don't shake hands.

Clearly, it's so much more hideous and ill-proportioned than an X6 or A5
Sportback or Focus folding tin-top or any of a squillion other vile
abortions from "cool" makers...
I have to admit, I have warmed to the A5. I didn't like it at all at
first but the proportions don't seem as wrong as they did when it came
out. I think it would work better if it was the size of an MX-5, A5s
are HUGE and they're actually quite difficult to get in and out of.

Over the last couple of years I have seen a lot of foreign Lancias
tootling about in the highlands over the summer. Mostly dutch, none of
them have ever looked right.

Have you seen a 5-series GT in the flesh yet? Or, come to that, a
Panamera?

I've seen both - and they're both hilarious...

I had to google the 5er GT, and Porsches are common as muck round these
parts but I still haven't seen a Panamera in the flesh. There aren't so
many big GT cars as 2 door sports cars in everyday use though.

Both look pretty ridiculous in pictures. I think the A5 looks like a
little piggy in real life but not as badly proportioned as the Porker or
5series GT.

I think the X6 looks like the fruition of some bizarre 1970s
Thunderbirds design fantasy fruition.

I was going to mention the 5-series GT (deliver to BMW in Bracknell,
including tyres to their workshops now and again, and saw that, along with
the X1. Was almost just about to start a thread entitled "BMW in losing
their way design-wise non-shocker" thread.....

Another pic from the weekend, the current model Delta.

Hmmm , not convinced by that at all.
It's a Fiat Bravo with ugly bodywork and more powerful engines.
The interior is almost identical to the Bravo

I'm not 100% sure, but that might've been posted from one of those weird
web-based forums that turns out to be posting to usenet, like the
legalbanter site..
