... but I've made lots of progress!! The 205 has been treated to a £40 relay which seems to have fixed the glow plug problem so it now starts properly. I finished stripping the Nova today - a guy came to pick up the engine this evening and the remaining useful bits got rammed into the 205 to bring home and stick on ebay. Shell is being removed tomorrow - I think it's going banger racing! Also today the Rover got a new damper and track control arm on the nearside. Hopefully the offside will be done sometime this week, then 2 new tyres and she can be MoT'd so I can start driving her! Plus yesterday I changed the rear damper bushes on the Volvo as they were persihed, and also did a bit of tidying. Just got the front tie bar bushes to change and it'll be ready for it's MoT too. And then it can be sold! Pheeew! |

Looking at comfier stuff now, off to test drive a Leon Cupra R 225 later in the week, and hopefully a 147 GTA if I can find one close enough... Luckily there's still plenty of other interesting cars to be had though! |

Well he has spent about a million pounds having it done up, and it periodically destroys bits of itself or Conor, or someone working on it. That's why he calls it Christine. "Advice is a form of nostalgia. For those dispensing it, it's a way of fishing your past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recylcing it for more than it's worth." (c: Cheaper and simpler maybe, but I do actually enjoy spannering, just not on anything I have to use to earn a living. |
