Default More power for the Dub. - 09-26-2005 , 02:37 PM

Well SWMBO has decreed that the golf is a bit on the gutless side.WTF? 8v
Gti which i thought pulled well. and has decided she wants more oomph.

any suggestions for a sizeable(noticeable) hike in power?.

first thought was to transplant a 16v lump in what sort of difference?

secondly what sort of difficulties in fitting a 1.8T lump?

any thoughts guys?

Relatively easy, but not worth it, the 8v is a nicer car to drive day to
day.

Stupidly expensive, mega amounts of hassle involving dash transplants,
lock transplants or custom ECUs.

De-chav it.... OEM grille, more modest drop and either BBS cross-spokes
or steels. YKIMS.

Put the red top you've got kicking about in it - I'm sure a man of your
talents could manage that one :-)

Yes, we'd already established you're a pair of uneducated chav
fucktards, no need for the reminder.

Rob, seriously, listen to what people tell you on here. If you don't
believe them, ask Vamp. He once wanted to put neons in a Cavalier, and he
saw the light and started buying hairdresser posemobiles.
